Done, I voiced similar opinions. The jist of my statement was like this...
Make it so someone could buy an SS 1LE (example) leave with Z/28 intake and headers, GMPP heads and LS7 cam, ZL1 brakes, Z/28 brakes ducts and differential cooler, a Simpson Helmet with a Chevy bowtie on it in the trunk all financed with warranty and directions to the nearest track. Did mine. Most of my complaint is mainly about pricing.

Done. Strange they didn't ask what we thought of their pricing.

Here's the thing (I hope they are reading this) most of us understand that the parts won't perform as well as the aftermarket offerings, example the GMPP heads and LS7 cam kit. It only gets you 40-50 HP the price on that happens to be reasonable but it voids your warranty. If it was warrantied many of us would go with that. The same thing with the Z/28 manifolds (headers) many of us would go with those if we could keep our warranty. If I lose my warranty I'll take the aftermarket parts and make way more power.
Then the other problem is if you get to keep your warranty you spend a fortune like the ZL1 brakes hell they want like $12K for that! Have they lost their minds? You can do the exact same set up from JDP with your own color and logo on the calipers for less than $4K. For $12K you could look into legit racing Brembo set ups or even the carbon ceramic set up that Racing Brakes is developing. Like I said in my last post, good prices, decent performance, warranty intact and make it possible to work it into the monthly payments. Sell like hot cakes... Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

seems like a good way for them to find out if your car still has a warranty.

Guess it's more of a US survey. I did it but had to say I live in Washington state to complete it.

Didn't realize the aero kit was so cheap, thought it was more. Though that doesn't include the swap to a refresh body since I don't think they're compatible... right?
They have one. It's called the LF3, and considering the price of the car it comes in (ATS-V) I'm guessing buying the engine, trans, computer and everything else needed for a swap is pretty pricey. |
