601 rwhp (basically close to 700hp at the crank) and stock street tires would not work all that well for drag racing. You could cruise around town without any issues. But if you tried to go wide open off the line or from a low speed roll, you're most likely just going to smoke the rear tires. A stock ZL1 with drag radials would most likely beat a 601 rwhp ZL1 with stock tires in a drag race. |

These cars hook pretty well on the street, especially for a 20 mhp roll. The cts-v is not too bad at all with 600 rwhp and we have done dozens of them.
At the strip you need tires to race or why go? Et is what it's all about, even with an otherwise stock car. |

For those ZL1 owners that don't know, Keith and Damon have been modifying LSAs for Cadillac CTS-V owners for quite a while. If you search any of the Cadillac CTS-V forums, you find nothing but positive feedback on Keith and Damon of KD Innovations. I'm betting they'll become more well known around this forum now that we have the LSA in our ZL1's.
I'm working with them on my own ZL1 and I'll post up results to the forum as well as I go. |

I drive my car on the street alot. if this package on street rubber ran ~11.5 I would be like sold. it may expose traction issues though. at an NHRA event at my local track if I did not want to get kicked off for tech I would be better off bringing an 11.5 second car on street rubber. <11.5 with a manual requires a scattershield. As cool as 10.5 on dr would be they would not let me run.

Honestly, with this much power you need to look at something like the toyo r888. This is about where my gt500 is at currently and the car is way more enjoyable on the street with r compound rubber. I never launch it, but the car would get sidewaysfrom second gear rolls before.
I understand running race gas for the best times, but I am more interested in pump gas power. I gave up on the race gas when I parted out ny dsm, lol. |

Do you take cores to reduce costs on the cusotmer's end for the porting? This is something I would be interested in doing, do you need a tune after the porting or can you just bolt it on?

Blower port is a minor bolt on?
Good numbers but those mods are a little more than minor imo. |
