My 1st choice would be PERFORMANCE AUTO-BODY located in Amsterdam NY. It's a short drive from Albany, but worth the trip because he does good quality work. He painted a friends 69 camaro 20-25 years ago and it still looks great. He has always worked on muscle cars and had a few over the years so he can relate to how we feel about our cars. Ask for the owner, Rick Forsey and tell him Johnny O sent you. I beleive the number is 843-7126, or 843-6258. (One might be the fax line).

That looks like a good reliable SUV for the winter. Yes, it's a small world. I was in the back of the shop & Dave hollered to me, "What's that camaro club you were telling me about ? -- Someone's here from a club right now". I was shocked to learn it was Lesleigh. Both cars are going into storage this weekend, so you won't see it there for awhile... Did you happen to see the 67 Maroon Camaro at Daves ? A friend from work owns that car. I've been helping him get a few issues fixed this summer. I don't think he'll have much time for shows, but maybe I'll convince him to go to some events sometime. He does want to take it to the Valley sometime to see what numbers it will run. The car has a 454 for a motor. I drove it when Dave got done with a few things. It's a cool car.

As per my previous messages- Try Caprarra's in Troy and Verns in Amsterdam, Another Very-Very_ good shop is Bob Ensign's body shop- He does high quality restrorations and can be counted on for a top notch job- I think he is moving from his shop behind the Colonie Garage , but I am not sure where. Good luck kl

I just had the chips fixed and the rear quarter repainted at Phil's body shop in Schenectady. They did a great job.

Don't know if they do stripes:

Andy We finally have the new spoiler on the Camaro. It looks like they should have built them. Alot of chips under the original spoiler, not just at the ends. We had the stripes painted on and extended over the top and down 3 inches. It looks awesome, and puts alittle color on the butt shot! Have some pictures, that we hope to get on line soon, with alittle help from you. Barry and Linda

Sign me up. Just purchased a 2011 2LT RS w/ sunroof, CGM w/ silver rally stripes, grey int.

Never got so many compliments on a car. People just come up to me and tell stories of Camaros they once owned.

Welcome to Camaro ownership!

You'll hear LOTS of stories about the Camaros people once owned. My first car was an 81 Z28 that I bought new - and still have. I've since added 3 more to the stable, lol. Trust me - I've heard lots of stories in 29 years!
