If that were accurate, than that car should run 10.20s @ 130 MPH at 4000lbs
Bring back a time slip.
There's just too many of these out there making similar numbers and yours is 15-20% higher than everyone elses???
That must be one "magic" camshaft.
RPM in NC just did a procharger + cam = 670 whp on a dynojet @ 8psi

Quote from another thread about built motor vs supercharging
"We used nearly the same cam in a Procharged application this week and the car made 670 rhwp and 580 + rwtq SAE on 8 lb.s of boost"

Thanks, I don't think the owner is into drag racing like we are. Below is my Z28 that launched a little too hard at the first LSX Shootout in '07. I really didn't think the car would cut 1.29 60 ft times on M/T drag radials with a powerglide.

We then decided last year to enter a wheelstand competition that was televised. I still wonder why I decided to do this, we had to replace a lot of parts when the car came down. Bob

Thanks for posting, some people just don't realize the potential of these engines! Bob

Bob, looking at the picture from front, are the rear tiers off the ground too in that shot? Were you driving it? If yes, what went into your head when you were suddenly looking at the sky?

Nice job Bob. I think the power is very believable with the Cam and blower.
There are a few people new to the LS world here. When they look around these power #'s can be the norm.

The rear tires were off the ground in that last picture, which was taken at the wheelstand competition last Octiber thst we entered. Ted Garvin was driving the car, it rotated to the passenger side off the parachute mount, and would of come down on the guardrail had he not suddenly lifted. He said when it hit the ground his teeth really hurt.

The legendary Lou Satiago of Musclecar TV, shown here with Ted Garvin, was on hand filming a new TV series.

Thanks Don. No doubt most people are not use to cylinder heads that flow 330 cfm from the factory.

That's because most ProCharger applications are only using 6psi. in this setup he's using 8.4psi. (8.5 rounded). That's 2.5psi. of boost more than most applciations.
But, I do notice he's not making much TQ or HP down low or in the mid ranges. So, might be better to reduce the boost, and tune better to get better numbers lower in the power band. I'm not an expert, but just sayin.
