Took the car to the track last night.

So, last night was my first trip to the track with the NT05R's and it went fairly well. Got a new pb of 8.24 but there is still plenty of room for improvement.

Had some pretty bad wheel hop starting the burnouts, but after the first second or so it stopped wheel hopping and they heated up pretty fast. The last two runs it seemed like i could feel the posi unit giving up and just letting one wheel spin, and my 60' times weren't too impressive either due to traction issues.

Also had my first clutch issue last night. The pedal stuck to the floor momentarily, but i lifted before it completely smoked it.

I plan on making it to Beech Bend before the season ends so i can try my luck in the 1/4 and see how the car reacts to a well preped track. Before then i want to install a remote clutch fluid reservoir, some trailing arms and a line lock.

Any suggestions on other suspension mods that could help would be appreciated, i'll be needing them next year since i plan on doing a GM 3.91 gear swap and jre posi mod this winter.

Your 60' times look similar to mine with the NT05Rs. One upgrade I made that improved the wheel hop condition was a set of these from Jannetty's shop.

Good runs. I had the same issues as you a few weeks ago. Damn 1 wheel spin burnout is embarrassing Then my pedal stuck on the other run.

Yeah the peg-leg burnouts are a pain in the butt. I had the same problem with my 73' Roadrunner and ended up putting a spool in the rear haha. Unfortunately that's not an option for my daily driven 2010 SS.

I'm having a hard time deciding which trailing arms i want. BMR or PFADT? Don't really have much time to make up my mind since after next month Beech Bend will close down for the season.

As for the clutch sticking to the floor, does anyone know how hard it is to change the fluid without the remote reservoir? I would assume it would be the same process, but it would take more fluid. Trying to save some time and money so i can make it to BG as soon as possible.

Well, we have our Trailing Arm and Rear Toe Rod kits in stock and ready to ship! They are both lighter and stronger than the factory pieces and should help you out with the wheel hop situation.

Just give us a call at 1-888-972-2464 or shoot me an email to jarrett@pfadtracing.com . We can ship them out the same day so long as you get to us before 3pm Mountain Standard time!

Made it back to the track...didn't change anything, but I think there was a little better track prep. I pulled off an 8.15 on the first run, second run I spun ridiculously on the launch and ran an 8.4...after that I didn't really feel like running again, so I decided to come home and watch Netflix with my wife haha.

I think I'm done for the season. I'll do some work to the car this winter when I have time and then make my way to a real track (beech bend) next spring and try my luck there.

Anyways, here's my slip. I tried posting the video but it never would upload it.

If you decide you want some BMR parts give me a call here at the shop and I will see what I can do for you. We have these parts on the shelf ready to go so we can get them to you before the race season ends.

The first mod I did was cradle bushings inserts by Energy suspension,Tailing arms & rear toes rods by Pfadt and a good alignment. I have zero wheel hop on the street and at the track with 315(street) M/T drag radials (track). But I did get a 1 wheel burn out at the track once. So this winter I have another diff that will include lower gears, posi mode by JRE and billet caps by JRE.

BMR and Pfdat are great products.Don't forget Pedders aswell.
