Planning Exhaust Work
Met with Fred of the Car Guys here in town (http://thecarguysllc.com/)
They do awesome custom exhaust work if you're ever looking for that. Anyway, Fred is all spooled up and ready to go. Once the car is mobile, that's where she'll go next. The plan is 3 inches all of the way: headers - performance cats - Noweeds cut-outs - throaty mufflers - then end just before the rear wheels. Yeah, yeah, I know, "why cats?" The reason being, is I couldn't stand the "rich gas" smell before. It would stink up the garage, my clothes, the interior of the car, etc. Plus, I can't stand following other "stinky" old cars around so why should I do that to someone else? I'll keep you posted. P.S., I was told (again) my remaining parts will be painted today or tomorrow.

Last of the Parts are Painted
The remaining parts have been painted.
Now, we wait for reassembly. Mechanical work continues. I'll post pictures as progress is made.

New Gas Tank
Here's the new gas tank installed. This tank has the fuel pump inside and is for fuel injection. This tank was hard to find. If anyone wants to know where to get it, let me know.

More Engine Pictures
Here are some more engine pics.
We are moving the air conditioning compressor to the passenger side. James doesn't like the way it looks on the drivers side. Plus, the Hotchkis handle bar doesn't clear it. I think he's right, it'll look much better on the other side. There's been alot of progress today. I'll get more pictures posted on Monday. Also on Monday, the headliner goes in. I'm cleaning older parts and painting them over the weekend. Of those that don't pass, I'll have to purchase (more $$$).
