What Scoop to use with C.A.I Intake?

Ok I already have a C.A.I Intake.

What Scoop and would be the best for this?

I am currently looking at the ADM Scoop w/stud kit and Roto-Fab Washer Reservoir. Is there any other type out there that are just as good or better?

Ive really only heard of the ADM scoop,
I will be making my own so it can be bigger and grab from multiple spots. Thinking of adding a vent in the wheel well liner so it can grab air from there as well.

I have that same setup. I was thinking some else is making a scoop. I know the washer is made at a couple of places.

I have the adm scoop and moved my washer bottle came out nice. I don't think you need a bigger one this one works fine. I really feel the diffrents with the scoop when it was cold out side really gave the car a good kick in the ass.

Thanks for the mention.

The Apex Motorsports Washer Tank Replacement Kit is a complete solution for those using an aftermarket scoop. Our kit features OEM quality components and utilizes your stock 12V electric pump so there are no wires to cut. The design allows for unlimited installation options that can contribute to a clean and cluster free engine compartment and does not interfere with the installation of aftermarket strut tower braces.

The kit includes:
  • Durable, molded plastic tank with vented cap
  • 6 feet of polyethylene tubing
  • Remote fill with vented cap. (Cap has universal washer fluid logo)
  • Clamps and hardware for typical installation
  • Installation instructions

Here is a link to Camaro5 member ClutchCargo's installation thread.

Below is an example of one possible installation option.

I ordered everything from Chase at Apex motorsports. It was the black CAI inc intake, APEX scoop and Apex washer kit. The APEX scoop and ADM scoop look identical, except the APEX scoop has extra holes to mount their washer kit. I like that setup better than the ROTO-FAB design. No offense to anyone or any manufacturer. Just a preference thats all.

If you buy our products

If you purchase our products, they are all designed to work together. You dont have to worry about what scoop to buy,What washer bottle to buy etc.

We will be phasing out all of our street intakes and only sell 1 model to fit all needs,You choose what parts you want to use from the kit.

All new ADM PERFORMANCE Intakes will come with a washer bottle and a scoop and will fit Magnacharger and whipple cars or Naturally aspirated cars alike.

Lets just say the performance and price will rival all others.

Its Aluminum, only weights 4lbs. Its solid, no vibration. The cover keeps all the air in the chamber where the air intake filter is.
