2012 Sway Bars
Did some research and apparently the rear sway bar for the 2012 Camaro SS is completely different from the 10 and 11's. Does anyone make a rear sway bar that fits the 2012? I checked with Eibach and they said everything else is the same except for that rear sway bar. They expect the rear sway bar to come out in September.

GM parts are usually way overpriced. Any idea what they cost?

I have LG sway bars on my 2012 and they worked fine. They installed different than the OEM and certainly had a different shape but fit in regardless.
Hope this helps. |

Did you force them in or do they have a natural fit?

I disconnected one of my mufflers... I have flow master axle back so it was pretty easy. Once it's out the bar will slide in from that side.
The end links work too... but they are way different than the OEM on the 2012. |

We should be finishing up the build process on our 2012 specific sway bar package VERY soon. As soon as they are available we will be sure to let everyone know.
After done testing with our bars on our 2012 ZL1 we can tell you that there is a definite advantage in running our 2012 bar package vs. the OEM options. Hang in there just a little bit longer and we will have a fully adjustable front and rear sway bar solution for your 2012 that will work more effectively than any of our other previous bar packages for the Camaro. Just so you know, bars designed for 2010 cars will work on your 2012 car. It will require purchasing rear endlinks, but the fronts will work perfectly and the rear bars will bolt up just fine so long as you purchase the correct endlinks. That being said, our 2012 bar package is so close to being ready to go that if you hold out a little longer you will end up rewarded with the best performance available. |

Will they be available in a street package with lowering springs like your current bars?
