Just adjust the rubber

bumpers on either side to make a little more pressure on the trunk lid.

No worth taking to the dealer...

true that, I wish I had my car so I could see for myself. But yes, if its got bumpers and little down turn is the answer. If you don't feel comfortable, let the service dept do it.

ITS UP TURN you want more force on the lid... It takes 5 seconds. I don't have time to deal with the dealer to turn a knob for me..I guess they could teach me how to start my car also since I was going to be there....

I have the same problem and this is the solution as well ... I'm guessing there is an adjustment that the dealer can make to fix this?

This did the trick for me ... I did about 1.5 turns (UP) to both and it seems to have resolved the problem (2 tries no issues).

BTW .. thanks Coop!

I had that trunk release problem too but I fixed it by adjusting the rubber trunk lid adjusters.
Seems that if the lid comes down to high, there is too much pressure on the release mechanism and it just clicks. Lowering the lid will relieve the pressure on the mechanism and it should work fine. Mine hasnt gotten stuck since.
