A friend of mine has the pro version of the HPTuner and has several available tune licenses. He's offered to tune my car for free, but he needs a good config file for tuning an SS A6.

Two questions:
1. He's tuned his GTO and is pretty happy with the results, should I let him tune my Camaro?

2. Does anyone have a decent configuration tune for the A6?

The A6 is a totally different animal than the 4L6X series. You may want to make sure he knows what he's doing before he starts playing with your transmission, because the whole strategy to the transmission control has changed.
