What else do you plan to get at signing?

Hi,

I know that dealers can sometimes pile up extras at signing, but is it all needed? Do any of you feel the need for extended warrenties on top of GM ones? And what about all of that undercoating stuff they try to sell you at the last minute. Is any of it really needed for a car like this?

I already asked my dealer what other costs can I expect at closing. He told me nothing above what the MRSP will be. They don't even charge for cleaning the car like other places might. Is he stretching this a little thin to make me feal better about the whole thing?

You don't HAVE to take any of those add-ons and they are typical ways that dealers try to make more money. Most of us are paying MSRP anyway, which is way more than we should be paying. I would make sure you stand your ground and tell them no to any add-ons, including extended warranties, tire for life packages, etc, etc.

Not sure the tires for life covers stupidity, but check the fine print.
