I think I may buy this. Great for using GPS hands free.

Aren't you going to hit it with your forearm/elbow when shifting?

GPS handfree = Android Auto / Car Play.

Plug in phone, tuck into cupholders.. done.

Time w eyes off road as you stare into your feet = big hazard!

My favorite phone holder, especially in the ZL1, is in my pocket or cup holders while I focus on the road. If I do need navigation, CarPlay is the greatest thing since sliced bread for that.

I actually got one of these to use in my BMW for the occasional road trip. Not much of a need in the ZL1, but I like that Weathertech builds everything here in the USA. Fewer and fewer companies make things like this here these days.

I didn’t try yet,
Just came out of my mind:
Car play with waze,
If we display nav into on the hud, will it show the nav info from waze?
(Thinking std Nav directions, not the other warning/caution display)
Or nav display in the hud is just about the OEM nav?

At least w Android, you get Android Auto version of the app, which is very similar to version you see on your phone screen.

Waze vs google maps: maps is better at offering alternate routes, sometimes 2 or 3 minutes more but no tolls, which is nice. Waze, IMHO only gives you shortest route unless I missed a setting.

Do you know where our cupholders are located? Remember Linda Blair in the Exorcist, your head will need to do that too.

Go Pro Clip Dash Mount.
