L99 VVT delete list

I'm gathering up all the parts that I need for my cam swap on my l99.i have the list of parts that I have and want to know if I'm missing anything before i tear it apart... I only bought parts separate cause I had some already.heres what I have

Ls3 valley cover
Ls3 timing cover
Cam sensor harness
Ls7 cam sprocket
Ls2 timing dampener
Ls7 lifters
Head gaskets
Head bolts



If I'm missing something I would appreciate the info .thanks

I would recommend the oil pump but there is mixed opinions about it and dont forget gaskets and front seal

There is a O-ring between the oil pump and pick up that needs to be replaced. Also the center valley cover has 8 O-rings on the bottom side. The gasket for the valley cover is different between the L99 and LS3.

I went with ARP bolts on my LS3 conversion. You will need a new crank bolt and 3 cam bolts.

Oh yes I already have the tap 231/236 cam on the way.

Lifter trays, as they are also different from the L99 that has afm lifters

Hate to see you removing VVT! U sure you dont wanna just swap back out to the VVT3 and keep that VVT?
