Here is the initial graph copied from the other thread:

Torque curve for the most part looks absolutely delicious until about 5.5 to 6K rpm...but right now it looks like there are issues on the high end.

Unless they slowly backed off the run in the upper rpms somehow, it really doesn't look to me like they just cut off early because the line continue to about 6,300 to 6,400 rpm, yet the HP drop off starts to occur at around 5,200 rpm which is way below where peak HP should be. I'm guessing at around 6,400 rpm the run was then cut off b/c of the numbers dropping off like that.

I'm not sure if this is due to a rich or lean tune but it really looks like an issue to me on that particular run. Now if they can correct that it will be some pretty impressive stuff, but honestly its not such a huge surprise to me since its on the LFX which has seem more consecutive success with tuning.

Doing the same on an LLT would impress me more just b/c of the nature of the tuning.

From what I was told they let off towards the end. This is only running about half the boost that we intend to put through it.

Well hell...with that much TQ on tap (and assuming the HP peaks out like it should due to a good tune) I'd leave it where it is! lol

But thats just me and I'd want a powerful and also reliable ride. Doubling the boost spells out "danger zone" to me. Good luck!

If the did back out - they took a while to do it. Otherwise I would think airflow restriction on the top end. Either way, that much tq on the bottom it's going to be quick out of the hole.

I think the drop on the high end could be two things. One is the thing got too rich and they slowly let off. The second is that the timing fell apart because of high static compression. I would expect latter to result in a very wavy line, but I've not seen this type of graph before so I don't know how it does smoothing. For now, I'm going with the first option (mostly because I think that's the easy one to fix).

Yep...have to again agree with some of the comments...sure doesn't look like any dyno I've seen before where the operator just let off.

As for going 10psi...if you can nail the tune more power to ya. I guess I'm just more conservative and I'd consider power in the 450 - 500 (crank) range to be as far as I'd want to go on stock internals.
