How strong is our driveline
Just wondering if I should worry about anything breaking if I bring my SS M6 to the track. It should be around 425RWHP using 275/40/20 NT555R's with VHT on the track.
How does our rear, driveshaft, trans, etc hold up with additional mods? |

You'll probably be fine, most guys start seeing problems when they get to about 500hp range.
First thing to usually go is the axles. Give us a call if you have any questions. Thanks Chris |

Depends on if you have wheel hop. If you do goodbye axles. I'd do some cradle bushings or trailing arms first; especially with an M6.

With that kind of power, you should start with some mild suspension upgrades to reduce wheel hop. After that, you want to look into axles, but this can wait until you get into the 500-horsepower range.

How about when torque management has been tuned out? I was just reading how torque management limits hard shifts which is something I noticed while driving. On occasion, I tend to shift very hard but noticed there isn't much spin going into second and only a chirp to third. When I had an '02 Camaro, the tires spun quite a bit more when shifting into 2nd and I only had 370rwhp.
I am having my car tuned this week and he mentioned turning off torque management. So will it be more likely that I break something if I shift hard? |

I wonder if I can make it there in record time. 1,200 miles in 10 hours sounds about right.
