Who else would have bought one? Like a reverse bumblebee - blk & yellow full body stripes... I saw pics of a black and yellow SS and loved it.

Seems like a cool idea. Doubt it will happen. I know there is a huge handful of folks that don't like the whole transformers trend with these cars but it can be fun. I dig it. But I think GM would have to go pro "good guys".

lol I'm actually working on turning mines into megaton since thats what my plates say. If anything, matte dark grey or ashen grey, along with red HIDS....sheeeeesh

I would think as a decepticon that the colors would completely opposite of those on the autobot, black and red or blue and cgm. I wouldn't think that Bumblebee would have an evil version that was also black and yellow...

Not a fan.....
I think it would be an interesting concept, however, with no more Transformers movies in the works I don't think it will happen. GM could have done an Autobot and Decepticon version during any of the 3 movie releases, the only difference between the two being color and badging. However, I dont' think this really would have enticed any more people to purchase the Transformer Edition. Can you really think of anyone who wasn't interested in the Transformers edition that would have been if a Decepticon version had been offered? Not many.
Personally, I am not a fan of the Transformers connection to the Camaro (I don't like the 5th gen. being referred to by many as "the Transformers car".) However, I do like the positive marketing campaign the movies had for the Camaro and Camaro sales. I am somewhat of a traditionalist, even though I'm only 30, and I am also not a big fan of resto-mods of classic cars.  I like to see them in there original glory. The funny thing is, I hadn't seen Transformers when I started searching for my car, and didn't even make the Transformers connection until somebody mentioned it to me after I purchased the car. I just knew the new Camaro was awesome looking and I had to have one because it greatly resembled the great muscle cars of the 60's. Everyone has their own tastes, and I enjoy looking at all the modded Tranformer themed Camaros........I just wouldn't do it to mine. -infernoman2011 |
