2014 / 2015 hood insert to accommodate S/C

Has anyone that installed a PD blower changed out their stock insert to help with the clearance issue. I installed a LSA blower (auto, w/LS3 conv, BTR stage2) and I've removed the water pan but still cannot put on the lsa cover. I know SLP makes one but they could not tell me what the difference would be regarding depth (anyone tried it). ACS also has the TLE insert, but I really wanted to keep it stock looking. Thought about lower engine mounts, but no luck their either. Any suggestions ?

I'm working on slightly shorter engine mounts to fix exactly the problem you have. I know it doesn't help you at the moment, but it depends on how long you can wait. I don't have a 2014-2015 local to me, so I could hook you up if you can wait and be a test fitment candidate.

Not sure slightly will do the job, figure I need at least an inch or a little more to be safe.

I've installed the SLP one with an LSA supercharger, it just barely clears the blower itself, if you put the plastic LSA engine cover on the blower it would not clear.

Not much but even without it the vent hit the blower.

I got the slp for my whipple and I have to say that there is nothing, nothing like the original. It looks very very cheap

Which blower hit the insert without the drip pan installed?

My problem is that I have the Carbon Fiber Heat Exchanger... Now adding LSA..... Removing drip tray is one thing.
Not having the engine cover is another...

Cutting into the Carbon Fiber in case it doesn't clear..... I am looking for ways around that. If it doesn't fit... Motor mounts, or a new hood will be in order.

I will soon know... I dropped the car off at ADM for an LSA... I am looking at the BMR engine mounts... BMR MM004. Without the aluminum spacer they supposedly drop the engine 1/4" This will probably not be quite enough... But it may help others.

Let me know how it turns out. I'm finishing up my lsa install and want to run an engine cover. Im confident I can modify the stock drip tray to fit the lsa without cover but idk about with it. Ive considered adjusting the height of the cover mounting points to lower it in the front a little but I have to dbl check clearance. I've also considered the bmr mounts as the stock engine mounts allow way too much movement

From what I understand the coolant lines are the problem - not the supercharger itself. These lines require the very back of the vent to be notched out 1/2" deep or more.
