GM does train and offers training, but it is the responsiblility of the dealership and its employees to DO the training.

It is the responsibility of the Dealership to ensure the order is CORRECT before it is released for production. When there's several dealerships "doing it right", it would not be that difficult for all of them to do the same - but they don't chose to do so.

No excuses. And I feel your pain, I would be equally frustrated as well!

Remember, GM will be emailing you a survey (if you provided your email to the dealership) after delivery which is VERY VERY important to that dealership. Be sure to tell your dealership just how you plan to fill that survey out.

They should do something...I know I would!

I posted way back when UCFwoot came out with the VIN tracking, that a lot orders were negative "RS" (WRS Package). I am sure there are more pissed off customers to come. If you have the time and nerve to wait, get the car the way you want it.

I double-checked my order after i changed color and the RS package was still there. We were warned several times to verify this. Problem is, most people buying this car aren't even board members, so this could happen to many people. We were just lucky to be warned. I would have been bummed out. The sales manager is the one keying in your "Changed Info"- he should have double checked to ensure all was well.

can't they still add whatever you need to be done at the dealer, RS packadge will consist of - the spoiler, HID's, 20'' MS rims, darkened tail lights, matching painted roof ditch molding whatever that is... cant that be ordered from GM by your dealer and just added on still, its their fault they should pay the expense to order and labour to add on and it will still be warranteed through the dealer and GM!!!

My order is coming with 20" Polished Aluminum rims and my dealer has it in print exactly what he ordered and the Polished Aluminum rims were not on it. He showed me at the dealership. He is clueless how they got added.

I will tell you this- having my car WITH the RS package, there is NO WAY I would accept one without it. PERIOD. JMO.

And yes, it is 100% your dealer's fault for not double checking the order before pressing "send"...

For the reason you stated. I'd probably reorder. No reason to have that reminder everytime you walk by the car.

In my opinion the dealer should hook you up.

I have a 2SS NON-RS and have the Roof Ditch. The only difference between mine and the RS version is the lights and I will be able to change that when the after market parts start hitting the streets. Basically you would be saving $1200 on lights....and let me tell ya...none of the 100+ people that come up to me about my car are concerned about my lights and neither am I. In fact, one guy who flagged me down said my rear tail lights look evil and said he loved them.

R6P folks have waited for long enough GM!!! Build early orders before any new dealer orders regardless of allocation. Stop treating your most loyal customers so unfairly!!!
