Should I buy the 1LE

Hey brand new to the forum and I was just wondering if it's worth buying the 1LE Im current driving a 2009 G8 GT. Is it worth upgrading to the Camaro? Any advice is appreciated

I had the G8 GT also. But in general I would say YES ! But if you need the space or 4 door then No. G8 is a great car.

I don't need the room one bit. At the time it was more affordable. Now I have a little more income so I'm just trying to find a way to justify the increased payment ha. My other reservation is the fact that I don't really know how to drive a manual very well... Been practicing though

Hello Mmar88,

Welcome to the forum. I ask you this, what are you looking for in your vehicle? The G8 is a great sports sedan, the Camaro, well that's a muscle car !

Hey Reggie, what I'm looking for in a vehicle is something fun to drive. Don't get me wrong the G8 is fun but I've wanted a camaro since the first time I got a glimpse of the concept, the 1LE package just adds to that. The utility of 4 doors and a large trunk is great I just really have no need for it. Not to mention I'm not a fan if the AFM in the G8.

Ha I think my mind has been made up, now the only things to consider are '13 or'14 and color. How does the ashen gray look in 1LE trim

Click on the link below and start scrolling through to the bottom of the page. There are a couple of pics of the AGM in the 1LE trim.

Hello again,

I totally agree with your sentiments Mmar88, completely. The G8 gives you some flexibility with the 4 doors, trunk space the performance it's capable of. The Camaro however is in a different category all together in my humble opinion. If only we could have them both
! You mentioned that you've wanted a Camaro for some time now. How about we get you in for a test drive maybe? That may clear something’s up for you .

the ashen grey looks pretty mean in real life with the 1le accents, but IMO you can't go wrong with any color on the 13's. If you want to go for rarity, get one in a color that's being discontinued in '14 lol
