Thank you Paul for posting this. At least now we can see how to fix the "new" edition NW 102 bc everyone was great at saying there was a fix but the explanation part left something to be desired.

To clarify, a "new" NW 102 that has the slamming shut problem can only be corrected by changing out the motor. There is no little quick fixes that can be done, IE tune adjustments. If you have a problem with a slamming shut tb you need to do this mod or get the TPIS 102 that Ted is testing. I think we all got it now.

What blower are you running? I'm guessing a whipple. It's primarily a TVS issue. The only whipple that is having any issues hasn't confirmed if it is indeed the NW 102 that is causing this. Hopefully next Thursday we will find out at the track.

yeah ok, keep telling yourself that.

So the blower with 2 catch cans the ice cream maker in the trunk the rollcage and wheel setup doesn't give anything away.

No one knows that shit is there. It's like a unicorn....all mythical!! And the cage is simply there bc I love saftey and you can never be to careful on the way to church!

You cannot swap the motor with the new style tb. You have to get the old style base that has been machined for the tps and the motor. There is also some tunning that LPE can do to help. These take a minute to sort out the tunning for idle and start up but LPE has perfected mine so it has great track and street manors. They have the same NW 102 on their Black car making major boost and over 1200 rwhp with a run in the 8s.
