Of course the Track Pack Mustang get you nothing extra that helps handling over the Brembo package which is mainly just better tires.
You need to step up the the Boss to get a car comparable to the 1LE. This was a lame comparison test. Typical Motor Trend.

lol that is bone stock. with dr's it's 11's. the camaros are faster at the road course. we all know that and need to accept that. 1LE is faster...period. we all go to the road course, and on the street road course victories is what matters.

i compared Motortrends track time of the 1LE and 2012 Boss LS and there was about a 20 second difference... im not sure if the 2013 is twenty seconds better, but it goes to show you that the limitations of the suspension on the Mustang is holding it back...

If I am not mistaken, and I could very well be, but the track the Boss LS was tested on was a signifigantly LONGER version of the track and means that in no way, shape, or form can be compared..... and please tell me how it would make any sense for the GT to be withing 3 seconds and the boss only within 20........

So motortrend was Lame because they tested a 2SS 1LE against a Mustang GT Premimum with the Track Pack package because the Camaro cost $4,000 more than the Mustang. Then we have those saying the Boss LS would have beed a closer race if they had used it. well, I just priced a Boss LS on Fords website and it listed for $49,990. the Camaro SS 1LE listed for $43,105. so that is over $7,800 difference.
In that account by some peoples reasoning on here the Boss LS should beat the Camaro SS 1LE almost twice as badly as the Camaro SS 1LE beat the Mustang GT. Remember MT WANTED to use a Boss LS to test against the SS 1LE but it was FORD'S decision not to do it. So don't blame MT for being lame, Blame Ford for being the LAME ONE.

A 1SS/1LE is only around $37K or about 1/3 of the 1LE's price again comparing it to the Boss LS. If your buying a 1LE or a Boss LS who needs the fluff anyway? |

Everything, but I hope GM gives us 1LE guys and girls some special package like they did for the ZL1. Stating our car number and such.
