Trickel Charger

Anyone know of a good trickel charger (1/2 amp or so) I can safely leave on and not worry about for a few months at a time?

Thanks

Look for a float charger instead. Too often the terms trickle and float are interchanged.

A trickle charger constantly feeds current at the battery--even if it's fully charged.
A float charger (or maintainer) will charge the battery, then shut off once it's fully charged. It will turn back on if the voltage dips. This will prolong the life of the battery.

This is what I use:

This is another good recommendation:

I've been using the Ctek 3300 for years. Cars are stored from Oct to Mar. Worked flawlessly so far.

I too have used the Ctek 3300 for years. My 95 Z28 is on a Ctek all the time as I only drive it on weekends; same battery for the past 9 years.

I keep all of my vehicles that are not driven regularly on Battery Tender's. Nothing like having the El Camino sit for a month and a half and then turn her over and she starts on one crank. Carbureted, no less. Gotta love a well charged battery.
