So you're going to stick the skinnier tire on the fatter rim ( RS rear rims 20X9 come with a 275/40. I know for a fact that the 20X9 with a 275/40 will fit on the front with no rubbing.

That's where my problem may begin i have this setup sitting in my garage and think i may need spacers.

I'm confused. What will the spacer do? I would be more concerned with how the tire fits on the rim. Should fit on the car fine. The spacer would move it away from the hub. I don't think you need that.

they will fit - post in the tire section if still confused.

Heard many stories of shops putting the rear wheels/tires up front by accident.

My wheel widths are 19X10.5 with 285/35/19 tire and 18X11 315/30/18 tire for the fronts...

the 40mm offset for the rear spacing should be fine in the front.

Just put them on not much of a huge difference between the stock 18's and the 20's i was worried about it rubbing aganst the shocks. On a pissing me off chevy note the driver side pinch weld and passenger side welds are in different locations so now i have a bent rocker panel on the underside atleast but wtf GM why make your decisions in life even more confusing for us then you already have.

The dealer put my rear 275s on the front before I had no issues other than the sheer stupidity

The only time you might need spacers is if you switch to the SS Brakes

Ya i doubt i'll ever do that i actually have more space there between the calipers and wheel with the new setup then i did with the old heritage rims. Shocks are still a bit close to me but i'll check for any rub tomorrow and just order spacers to give it a little extra room if i need to. Did some spirited driving tonight and didn't hear or smell anything like rubber burning.
