DIY: LED dome/trunk light swap
Well I finally got my LED interior lights from AAC today and dont recall being able to find a DIY guide for these so here it is

next remove the light cover

first carefully pry down on the driver side of the housing (i used the flathead again). slide down and out to the left
once out simply pull light out and replace do in reverse to reinstall Enjoy! Last edited by DCC1464; 01-30-2011 at 07:26 PM. |

When I did mine, I couldn't get the panel with the switch off so I just removed the plastic cover over the light and that was it! I don't know why the switch wasn't coming off, I was afraid of ruining the plastic molding.

just a fyi...if ya plug in the new bulb and it doesn't work, take it out and turn it around to reverse the leads. they have to have the right polarity.
don't ask how i know this.
