HELP:Convertible top fitment

Hey I just put my top down, and then put it back up and the back, below the window does not appear to fit correctly. Please take a look at the picture and give me your thoughts.
Is it screwed up I thought it fit better.
Thanx

Is that a cold weather issue. It has been cold here but it was 40 today and it sits in the garage?

Lots of people have been having this issue - the #5 bow issue. Doesn't sound like it's temp related, but I'm not putting my top down again until April, just in case.

ok just recovered from this problem. I purchased my 2SS vert from a dealer 100mls away. Two weeks later had to give up car for a week. It is the #5 bow and the hinge is bent. Chevy is having a big problem with this issue. The local dealer said the bow is on a national back order that it could take over a month and they won't give you a loaner car for that long. So I called my dealer dropped off the car and drove a Impala for a week... LOL! They fix the bow and hinge. I should have test drove the car but regretfully didn't have the time. I still have a minor air leak on the small quarter glasses. I have it in the body shop to upgrade it and then I will take it back. My dealership was amazing and treated my vert like royalty. Parked it in front of Service Director's office. They repaired the parts that I had to get me back on the road and will get me a new bow when available. My dealer is Jim Glover in Tulsa OK. If your dealer has any questions with the issue. To prevent this from happening you have to be real careful not to leave things in the trunk. The top folds down into a leather pocket and if something is in the way the hydraulics is so strong it will bend the bow.

So vert rule #1 don't leave anything large in the trunk. LoL!

one thing, the top is very fail proof. There is a liner and it cover everything. I am building a show car so I couldn't take the chance getting the interior messed up. I love my car! I had a inferno ss coupe first then traded for blk vert. Orange interior. Amazing car. Will post pics soon. I seem to have made some good friend in the accessory industry. I can lead you the right direction if you want to upgrade performance or looks of the car. Message me. We are fixing to have some fun! When finished it should be a 650 to 800hp car. Can't wait!

I beg to differ, lol. As many others on here who have design flaw problems. Search around a little bit on here and see how foolproof their design is. Or better yet, maybe check out this Facebook page; http://www.facebook.com/groups/226942550693692/

OP you are not alone.

This is one of the problems that made me buy the coupe. The convert is still a first year car with BUGS to be worked out. Maybe by 2014 I'll think about a "VERT"

Actually the Vert was designed in advance of the coupe. Your 2010 coupe was also a first year car. There were also issues with the coupe.
I still believe the top problem originated from the original top manufacturer going out of business. The water management problem is a materials problem that they should have recognised.

Took car to dealer this morning to show them the problem. Stopped in showroom to check another vert yep they screwed it up. Sliced open weatherstrip to run cable told to bring back monday so manager can look at it OK! fine. Bow collapses again and sides of top rip out of lock channel on the way home!!! The instructions be damned I will install it the way I want and screw the world seems to be the motto of these upholstery (experts).
