I'm not scared. I'm at work right now but the wife is at home shining bullets.

I have a medium sized bugout bag with food, water, medicine, fire starter, blanket, rain gear etc.

My wife has one that weighs 30 kilos and contains ammunition and a snickers bar.

Then I should be safe from solar flares as it is 4:00pm here and it is currently -35c, that would just warm it up nicely.

Yeah, but at that point we won't care.

Seriously, I'm not prepared for a complete planet killer. No use, really. I'll just pour a drink and stand in the yard and watch it come in.

However, I AM more or less prepared for some minor emergency that causes my neighbors to panic and start going batsh*t crazy. Of the two, this is the one I think is most likely to happen in my lifetime.

Still, I'm holding out for zombies. That would be ...interesting.

Edit: I just realized that I don't own a baseball bat. I hope one of my swords will suffice. :p
