Detailing outside
I don't have a garage, so I was wondering if anyone has done the adams 3 step polish outdoors. Weather looks ok in NYC tomorrow, temp 65 and light winds.

I've wondered this myself, but I think I'm going to do all I can to arrange a garage for me to do it in just to be safe.

I do most all of my work outside mostly because I'd rather be out in the elements than in the garage. Just watch for flying debris and pollen landing on the surface you're currently working on.
The guys in Florida, Texas or Arizona aren't so lucky because the sun makes that surface too hot. Mornings and evenings are better in the warmer states. It's usually pretty mild here in WI in the summer and when it is really hot, I'll do polishing, sealing or waxing in the morning or the evening. Just not in high sun.

Like WiSS said, it can be done. Just never do it on hot panels and like he said, be very careful of dust and debris landing on your paint. That's not something you want flinging across your paint at 5000 OPM.

The pollen is falling fast and furious here in NYC and have had to use my Cali duster 2 times a day. Everything is worse with a darker car.....
If it were me I would try and hold out until the pollen stops falling. I myself do not have a garage, and have to do everything outside as well.
