Procharger should do the trick. You'll pass me right by and join 2L8 in the 600 Club.

Drive either of our cars and you'll know which clutch to buy.

[QUOTE=gahammerle;5094417]The Camaro survived Chicago rush hour traffic. I wouldn't want to live there and have to put up with that every day.

I also don't want to make a 5 hour drive without stops in the Camaro again. My posterior was a little sore from sitting in that seat for so long. Next time, I'll have to bring the wife or a kid so I'll be forced to stop. QUOTE]

I agree on not wanting to live in chicago, but I thought the Camaro was GREAT for long trips. I've driven it 14 hours to canada and to NY and I thought it was extremely comfortable for long trips... much better than any other car I owned (except the lack of storage...)

2010 Camaro SS modified extensively. I stretched the body to make it a 4 door, but I swapped in the 3.6L DI V6 for fuel economy. Then I picked up a corvette body around the V8. I also swapped the body for a C2 Z28. (In short I traded it for three cars, a Corvette Z06r, a C2 Camaro Z28, and a Cadillac CTS Summer Performance package 3.6L DI with Aisin 6spd.)

I agree. The Camaro is a great long distance car. Super comfortable seats!

On another note, IROC is coming along.

Only rust spot to speak of. Just surface rust. Can't wait to get started painting.

Front end was a PITA to remove. I'll keep you all updated. Next time you see it, it will be quite different. I'm not keeping it stock/original anymore. I need something to play with!

Just sent... don't want to offend anyone.

I agree the seats are comfy - just not for 5 hours without making a stop.

Chris you are arguing with a 20-something yr old kid that joined a car forum for his MOTHERS car, goes to meets with his mom with the car, posts like its his own.....etc.

Chris, looks like you have someone to hang out with now! Did you have to go recruit someone to take your side?

Oh, and I guess it makes you real mature, a real big man. Making an account on an online forum just to bash someone. This is ridiculous.

that came off wrong, i wasnt making fun of the truck. just pointing out the fact that he is telling people how to drive their manual trans camaros and not ride the clutch...then comparing to a 4cyl truck that isnt going to burn out a clutch like a 300hp+ v6 or v8. didnt mean to hurt feelings :(

FWIW guys,

I always find it puzzling that self proclaimed smart asses or those that say the call it like they see it or are just being honest... are the ones who get their feeling hurt when that same attitude is returned back to them...

We try not to over moderate the local threads as we don't always know what's going on behind the scenes.

All I can ask it that we don't let things get out of hand on the boards. I don't know where to begin to even try to clean this up so I'm not.

My apologies for intruding on your thread.
