Thank you for the input, we found 7 tunnels, little buggers. We are just going to hire a company, we have concrete in the back yard that needs to get drilled.

Anyone have a set of car ramps? Looking to start doing my own oil changes and wondered if anyone had any experience with a set of ramps that work well for our cars without scraping?

I got a set of plastic ramps at Harbor Freight that are about 8" high. Just right for clearing the front end. Good for oil changes, but I pretty much have to jack it for anything else.

Was looking at the Rhino ramps, some say they work perfectly ine and others claim they slide or scrape the front.

I've never had them touch the front of the car. The only problem I've had was they tend to slide on my garage floor as I first drive up them. I put a rubber mat under them now and it works fine.

I have used the Rhino ramps for years and am quite pleased with them. I lost the rubber pad underneath one of the ramps and I contacted the manufacturer. The manufacturer set me out two rubber pads at no charge. BTW, the ramps are 10 years old and they wanted to make sure I was a satisfied customer! Great customer service!

Besides, the heavy plastic which makes up the ramps won't "Rust, bust, collect dust, or smell in the rain." Can't ask for more than that!

I have found the easiest way to keep plastic ramps from sliding is to place them on the driveway but against the 1" lip of garage floor concrete. It never slides.

Ramps - I just went the cheap way. Used 3 10 inch x 2 inch x 8 foot boards. Cut the ends off two at 45 degrees and then cut the third one in the middle at 45 degrees. Put the remaining pieces on the first two with some screws and wood glue. For safety, I put some 2 inch stops on the end of the ramps. They are heavy, but they do work on a lowered car. Used some old rubber car mats on the bottom and they don't move at all.

You could chisel them out of granite boulders, or hire some Egyptians to build some earthen ramps...

Pay no attention to me, I just got back from a beer tasting!

Seems like it might have been more than "a" beer tasting?!
