Hi folks, proud new owner of a 2015 1LT in back.Wanted your opinions on professionally coating the front bumper and rockers with line-x in black, think it would look good?

Maybe the rockers, but not the bumper. If you want to play around, use plasti dip to see how it looks before you do it for perm.

The rockers are actually a great idea the front bumper will look weird all matte line-x with the rest being gloss black.

Yeah, that was kind of my thought too. Same with plasti-dipping a whole car. Some people love it; it's just not for me

Yeah not going to do anything right now way too risky and might turn out poorly, will let it ferment in the noggin.

I have a sneaky suspicion that it would look good the black matte on black gloss, following the already cut out lines; the line of the hood, and around the wheel well(that 1 inch flat section around the tire) down to the flat part of the rockers.

I saw a stingray that had a yellow on black line-x design, the yellow portion was line-x, and it looked surprisingly very good.

I like jrisebo's suggestion to Plasti-dip first, and live with it for a little while. Cheap and painless.
