Honestly I don't really remember which percentage I opted for. But I would definitely stay between 15% - 25%

Would 30% all around be dark enough?

Looks like 30% is as dark as you can legally go.

A person may not drive a motor vehicle that has a:
(1) windshield;
(2) side wing;
(3) side window that is part of a front door; or
(4) rear back window;
that is covered by or treated with sunscreening material or is tinted to the extent or manufactured in a way that the occupants of the vehicle cannot be easily identified or recognized through that window from outside the vehicle. However, it is a defense if the sunscreening material applied to those windows has a total solar reflectance of visible light of not more than twenty-five percent (25%) as measured on the nonfilm side and light transmittance of at least thirty percent (30%) in the visible light range.
(d) A person may not tint or otherwise cover or treat with sunscreening the parts of a vehicle described in subsection (c) so that operation of the vehicle after the tinting or sunscreening is performed is a violation of subsection (c). However, it is not a violation of this chapter if this work is performed for a person who submits a physician's or optometrist's statement as described in subsection (b) to the person who is to perform the work.
As added by P.L.2-1991, SEC.7. Amended by P.L.128-1995, SEC.1; P.L.12-2003, SEC.1.

I used to always do 5%. Did it on 3 cars and finally started getting pulled over. Last 3 cars I've done 20% all around on and it seems to be working.It's real hard to tell between 20-30/35% depending on what's legal in everyone's states.
Although I'm sure the car will attract more attention than the tint. The tint will be another thing they can add on in addition to speeding/loud exhaust/showboating

Here's a quick chart breakdown of the tint law by state. Unfortunately, I'm here in GA where I can only have 32% all around.

I've done all my trucks with 5% limo tint (installed myself) but for some strange reason I don't feel like I want to tint the Camaro. I want to be seen in it! Not to mention, I don't want to make the visibility in this car even worse and the windows do seem to have a very small amount of tint already.

if you want dark the way tint looks the best go 20% or darker, if you don't care if it is not real dark and can be seen through easily, then that is what you will get with 30%, depends on how you want it, if you don't want people to be able to see you inside the car, get 5%.

yeah when i get home. I cant upload pics through my phone. I live in Ga and i believe i either have 35% or 32% (depends on brand of film bc a lot of times they only make either 35 or 32) So if u can get exactly 30% then i think it would look perfect.
