This is interesting for sure. Wonder what/if they have anything up their sleeves with this.

Side note.. I love Buick, and if they do ever get around to making a RWD, higher power output, flagship type car, I would heavily contemplate whether to buy one over a Camaro for my next vehicle purchase...

Yes, GMC has usually been a higher content truck. A little nicer materials and more standard and optional equipment. But basically the same truck.

Yes they have pretty much always shared the same underpinnings between the two, with content & styling being the main differentiators between the two.

On top of that, when doing market research GM found out that most buyers tend not not cross-shop GMC's & Chevrolets very much. Usually it ended up something like if Chevy was a persons #1 choice, they had GMC as their 3rd or 4th choice & vice versa. So if the GMC brand were dropped, GM would stand to lose the majority of those sales.

Colorado and Canyon will be substantially different. Akin to Equinox/Terrain.

It's possible but a lot has to happen before that.

Wasn't implying that car would be 100% accurate to said historical guidelines. As far as I'm concerned, doesn't have to.....
