Best Headers for your $?

I'm picking up a 2010 SS here in a couple of weeks, and I've been trying to find which headers were the best for the HP/TQ gains. I might just be a failure at research, but I can't seem to find enough dynos to prove which ones have the best gains for their price. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

List of planned mods to include
Cam - undecided
CAI - Cold Air Inductions
Headers - At question
High flow cats - undecided
Cat-back exhaust - Cherry bomb extreme, or pacesetter catback
Short throw - undecided

Thanks

Kooks stepped headers...

Really it comes down to if you want American made (as I did).... if you want a reputable headers from a quality company from the USA with cats you will drop around 1000-1200 minimum. Without cats somewhere around 800 min.

My kooks came in around 1100, but I didn't coat them... still the best purchase I have put on my vehicle given the gains.

For headers made overseas, TSP has a budget set of headers and of course OBX!!!

If you're looking for cheap headers go OBX or Pacesetter. They are cheap and offer the most bang for your buck. But, we recomend you invest your money into a header that will last and perform. Go with ARH or Stainless Works. They both make awesome power and have excellent craftsmanship and fitment.

Id say Texas speed or obx for the money. I'd get a Vararam instead of any other intake. If you had one, you'd agree.

Go with Texas sPeed they aren't offering them as budget headers. They are quality headers at a reasonable price.

Big Flow Headers... are the number one bang for your buck... since they are local to Houston the major shops around here are installing these a lot. We've seen great results on a super looking polished 304.

...and the price is excellent for what you are getting

I paid 350$ shipped for my XS power headers, the finish and welds are perfect and compared to a set of Kooks the finish is holding up better! The flanges are very thick, install was easy. I am super happy with them!

My xs power headers are a few months old and daily driven, and they still shine way more than 1 day old kooks. By far the best bang for the buck mod I have done to any car I have owned. And because it is a full system it eliminates the restrictive factory connections at the cat. 2 inch primary and 3 inch tubing, no choke points. There are better products but they are alot more.
