will this solve my problem?

Ignore my sig picture for it is not updated. My current setup is longtube headers, high flow cats, resonated xpipe, resonator delete and muffler delete. Also whole system is 2.5 inch pipe. The car sounds great under acceleration and has the lovely back firing rumble. My problem is the horrible drone between 2k-2500 rpm. I don't want to buy solo's jpipes or put my flowmasters back on because I'll have the same muffled sound I had before. I was told MRT V1 is the same as aero ar25 resonators. Im thinking about adding a set of those. I hope it is a happy medium between flowmasters and a muffler delete and take care of the drone. When cruising at anywhere between 70 mph-85 it is just unbearable. If Im going up a hill and if whatever gear I am in has me in the mentioned rpm range...it sucks! So what do you guys think?

MRT V1 (aero ar25) solve my drone or no?

Mrt v1 are just the mufflers. That won't solve anything.

When I had my flowmasters on there was no drone but quiet. I read that the Mrt v1 mufflers are really just resonators from aero. Theres a thread on it
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=165706

So is getting jpipes the only way to cut out the drone?

I have been reading on another thread that wrapping the pipes 30 inches before the tips with exhaust wrap will take car of the drone

I can't believe you are still having problems. In my opinion there are 3 type of exhaust system that will kill the drone/rasp to some degree but does not lower the overall noise.

1. corsa
2. ARK
3. SOLO

Good luck to ya.
