Replacement shocks recommendations

Currently got 70k on the stock suspension, and also got Eibach lowering springs on as well. Looking to replace the worn out shocks and/or anything else that may be worn out down there as well. I'm pretty green with suspension, so I'm not sure what direction to go in. I know factory shocks are typically rated at 50k miles, so those gotta go. I don't really track the car, mainly just the occaisional spirited drive. Hoping some of you guys can point me in the right direction.

Car's a 2010 2SS M6, fwiw. Currently looking at the 1LE kit on jdp's site here

I went with the 1LE shocks and struts from JDP and love them. Super easy to install, and no clearance issues.

I've heard they were a breeze to install, just need the rear upper mounts which jdp sells along in their kit. Not that it matters, i'll be having a shop install them since i'll be needing at least an alignment afterwards. If i do go with the 1LE kit, i only need the struts/dampers and the mounts, right? Just want to make sure I give whatever shop I use all the necessary stuff

That kits provides all that is necessary for a complete installation. You'll love the improved damping from them! Let me know if I can help answer any questions.

All the best,

Jared Royce

Might need to deal with the different front end link size on the 2010 if you haven't already replaced them. Believe the 1le uses the 12mm sway and end links. 2010 has 10mm.

I'll probably go with the 1LE kit unless the Koni kit is cheaper

Nope, all stock, maybe I'll upgrade those while I'm at it. I'll see what JDP has to say about it since I'll more than likely order through them

You wouldnt happen to have part numbers, would you? Trying to dig them off of koni's site, but their site is rather basic and uninformative, assuming i'm looking at the right place

If your in changing struts with a 1LE stuff go ahead and get the front sway bar while your at it then no issues with end links, or go aftermarket like I'm doing ZL1 front sway with DSE end links and 1LE Struts....

Money is the issue here, i'm recently out of a job and just dumped a few hundred bucks fixing other stuff on the car. I spoke with JDP and they said I won't have any issues with bolting up their 1le strut/dampener kit, so I'm probably just going to go with that, unless the koni's are cheaper, in which case i could probably squeeze in a front sway bar
