I know I want data on the $6500 dollar blower being advertised in the title. Not a stage whatever Weapon X package. You won't go to Whipple, Procharger, Magnusson site etc and see you need this or that package to accomdate this and that. Quote:

Speaking for myself, numbers and how they were achieved are awesome! ROI for the price, meh. Felt the same about the intake thread.

Magazines lie but the trinity is a dohc 5.8 it doesn't run out of head anywhere and isn't cam sensitive. Same for the Termi 4.6. LS is different animal.

Will this fit a c7 z06? Would love a bigger PD blower to shred my tires and induce snap oversteer!
Same LT4, no? |

Whipple and vendors have been kicking this can down the road for over a year. Latest I heard was 6 months for a Z06 edition. May bolt up but hose routing and intake inlets are slightly different to my understanding.

So Weapon X stage 1 out performed the 2.9L Whipple @ 14-16lbs of boost Wow am I reading this wrong ? Stock boost on a CTSV is 10psi from the results looks like the Whipple would loose hp & Tq @ 10psi. I don't see why Weapon X used there products on a Whipple test but Thanks for posting ? looks like Whipples 1st blower of this design needs more work as there top mount 2.9L has much better results.
STOCK LT4 & WEAPON-X Stage 1 Intake VS. WEAPON-X.700 PACKAGE Jeff's previous mods were a Stage 1 lower pulley, WEAPON-X Stage 1 intake, and our 6 gallon trunk tank system. With these mods he had a nice jump in power already. This was a peak gain of +31whp and +23wtq. WHIPPLE 3.75" & WEAPON-X Stage 1 Intake Next up, we took this back to the stock lower pulley and did all of the comparisons with our intake on so we'd have an apples to apples comparison. Due to the limitations of the stock air box, we left our intake on, and left the trunk tank connected but didn't ice it. The Whipple went on with the wagon wheel 3.75" upper pulley. As you can see, this lost a little mid-range torque but picked it back up over 5100 RPM. This is mostly due to that big Whipple being off the bottom of the efficiency map. This was a peak gain of +35whp but a peak loss of -9wtq; however, there was a torque gain close to your shift point of approx +25wtq. Boost started at 14psi and ended around 16psi Timing was around 17* Manifold Air was hot starting at 144* on this one, but ended at 142* as twin screws don't gain a ton of heat from start to finish when the efficiency |

What's the status of this Whipple?? It's rocking on the LT1, phenomenal results on damn near every application / car. Someone needs to get this build figured out.
