My plan is to drive it this winter as long as there is no snow or wet salt roads. Had it out today for a little bit before rain came. Love driving it even more now that I got my Solo Mach XL exhaust on.
Everybody have Safe and Happy Turkey Day! LB

Bummer! Not sure who is playing the finals this year since I am not home. I assume they play tomorrow and Saturday.

Saw this thread and thought I would throw this on ours in case anybody is interested in joining a caravan of members going to the Camaro5 fest. Still not sure if I am going. To early to tell.

I checked multiple places around Indy, and no one came close to tirerack.
Paid right at $1410 for 18" rims, tires and tpms shipped. Covered up the red stripe, just wasn't feeling it. Looks good on the VR tho. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50517 |

I decided not to drive mine in the snow or freezing rain. Don't mind the other stuff, Don't like that mixed salt and sand they throw on the road and it getting on the paint job. Besides I will get the ralley stripes painted on in January while she is in the garage.
Hey welcome 2010 Purdue Camaro! Boiler up man! Hope we can all meet sometime when the weather permits! |

http://www.indybodywerks.com/ Since reading the comments from this great web site to deal with wax collecting on the edges of the decal and bubble issues that tend to come later I opted for the paint. I really don't think you can go wrong either way though. They did a great job on yours! I may want to come look at yours if you don't mind before I do it. How much was your graphics? I paid $410 for all the vinyl on the car. Stripes, Gills, deck lid blackout, and color matched bowties. Easily well over $500 to order the precut vinyl on-line.
Like I said, I already told them they did not charge me enough. They did the window tint for $120 at the same time. Can't blame you for going with paint. My Rosie was not going to part with her baby for the time it would take to have them painted on. |

Dave O is planning a get together of Midwest Camaro owners next spring in Bloomington, IL. If you are interested go to this thread and sign up. Maybe we could meet in Indiana somewhere and go in a convoy. Let me know if you signed up so maybe we can plan. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showth...t=52737&page=2
Thanks. |
