Yep, San Antonio Raceway's rules say that anything that runs under a 14 second run will require a helmet.

We are running three classes at the drag racing: unlimited, street tire, and brackets. This way the big dogs can play in the unlimited class, the street driven warriors can dominate in the street tire class, and even if you don't have the fastest car you can still win in the brackets class.

If what I've seen is correct, anywhere from 13-13.5 stock.

Will be my first time at the track too. (drag racing anyway).

I know we have loaner helmets (5) for autocross, let me check and see if they are good for drag racing or not.

SS will easily run under 14 seconds. Let me do some checking on helmets.

I just bought a helmet from saferacer.com. I think it was $179.
