What rpm are we launching at for an M6 ?
Mine is an A6 but I would guess to start at 3k with some heat in the tires and slip the clutch a little before squeezing the throttle to the floor. If it bogs, up the rpm 300 rpm and try again. Secret is to not shock the drivetrain. Read rangeracceleration.com This guy has great tips to improve M6 launches and I have personally seen him in action.

LOL. Been there, done that. Had all my buddies around, was positioning the car for a nice burnout and I nailed it......car ripped maybe a 3 foot strip and bogged. Talk about feeling like an idiot. : grouphug:

Kinda glad I changed my order to an A6 even though I do miss a manual...BUT...the Launch Control sure seems to be giving even the experienced drivers a problem. Think I made the right choice (for me).

October will tell when the lone strip in Phoenix reopens.

I only got 1 run in last night, people kept breaking down on the track. 2nd time at the strip, launched it myself with everything off, left at about 2500 just so I could feel it out, was going to go from higher - 3700 ish on my 2nd run but I couldn't get it in. 60' was a 2.1 :( for 12.4 @ 120 (1525 DA)
