Custom Camaro Transformer. "Dragoneye"
I finally got around to getting this thing finished.
After Dragoneye was so kind to do the following custom Camaro for me, I felt an overpowering need to commit that likeness to something more physical. So I present my own custom Transformer, which I have named in his honor. "Dragoneye" And with Bumblebee. Sorry the photos are kind of crappy. I'm in the middle of moving and don't have much to work with as far as lighting goes.

Wow dude. That was SUPER cool of you to do, just goes to show the kind of people we have on this board and the kind of people that are Camaro enthusiasts (we've got big hearts and caring minds!!). Dragon will definitely appreciate this.

First off...great job on "Dragoneye"! Great tribute to a great guy!
And gatecrasher...my word man You and I want almost identical Camaros...in fact I'm definitely going to think long and hard about this paint scheme!! I love this look... Dragon...can you do one for me?? Same as above, but one with all black...and possibly one with the body color and stripe color reversed Let me know!

YOWSA!!!!! hahaHA!!! Wow! Thank you SOOOOOO much! Do the red eyes have anything to do with his name? I'm floored, humbled, honored, and startstruck all at once! I've got a smile so big you could run a 1/4 mile drag on it right now... That looks BRILLIANT! And...Bumblebee, sorry pal - but silver/grey looks just as good as you bud. How'd you do that? Paintbrush right the body? Or did you take off the pieces? WOW! |

Thanks for the kind words I was really inspired.
I've still got a little bit of detail work to finish up. But I was anxious to get it posted. I went with red for the eyes just because it stood out, and close up his head looks like the Terminator skull. It's very eye catching. This is what he used to look like. I disassembled as much as I could. These things don't lend themselves to full disassembly due to the nature of some of the fasteners. There's a few mostly hidden places where you can still see red. I used a combination of brush paints and Tamiya spray. The color match is as good as I could get with off the shelf stuff. I used to be really good at doing model kits. This was a good chance to knock some of the rust off my skills and get back into it. I need to find a good 5th gen Camaro kit. The next Transformer I need to get is Stealth Bumblebee. I don't think it's in stores yet. |

I've tried my P-Shop skills, but they are not worthy. Thanks to Dragon, and sorry I was not up to the task of helping you with our 'Chop requests. Long Live the King!!! We are forever in-gratitude. PS- It seems as some other new forum members are willing to step up. Thanks to all of you for helping our friend.
