When I got my Challenger in '10, the attention was crazy. The car is plum crazy purple, so that's one of the reasons. We still get a ton of attention with the Challenger.
With the Camaro, not much. I just got mine- white with orange stripes. I didn't get it for anyone but myself, so attention isn't an issue. I have more of a problem driving a huge purple car. My husband drives the Challenger.

To the person questioning the Challenger-

The R/T Challenger is anything but slow. Have you ever driven one?!? It's insane.

Arguing with a challenger owner about challenger prices? Okay, 392 core model starts at under 40k. Thus, me explaining that you can get a challenger with a 392 for under 46k was quite accurate, cause you can. Simple as that.

Well, sorry to break it to you. But, you're absolutely wrong. Still a sweet ass car though, I love the design of them!

I have a new Shelby GT500. people that are smart enough to know what it is and that it has 662HP show it lots of attention. Much more so than my Camaro, which is a nice car too.

Thats a beautiful car! The best green ever.If they still had the green in 2012 I'd be driving one.I painted my "67 Coronet Three stage Candy green. It looked good but not that good.

so nice, congrats for your shelby!

i break my neck for a challenger they're so rare to see. mustangs i like to see them ,but they are more present on the roads. anyway it's nice to see some muscle on the roads compare to everyday normal cars.. camaro's are even harder to come by. every chance i get i break my neck for them too.
the less attention, for me, is better .keeps away the thives.. they can look elsewhere. go steal the minivan but don't touch my car!

Ok, first of all, not "arguing", just letting everyone know what I found. On second look, I had SRT 392 selected, not the 392 Core. So, my bad, however the post below is correct, the MSRP on a 392 Core is $41k, that's bare bones. So, for an extra Grand I got a loaded out 2SS/RS 1LE, well, except for the sun roof. The 392 Loaded out breaks $50k. This is why I have always believe the Challenger doesn't have a very good cost to performance ratio. Even though, I do think its a nice looking car, but just not for me...

Yes, I built one again and realized I checked the wrong box, had the SRT 392, not the Core....but still, over $40k

I think they are all great cars, but stangs are almost dime a dozen out on the roads now a days. I could probably own one in the right circumstance, they are pretty fun cars just not rare enough for me...LOL
