Borla S - Does anyone know what this means?

I have been reviewing sound clips and online reviews on axle backs for a couple of weeks. I like the sound of the Borla S axle back. I have a stock 2011 SS LS3 (except for CAI) and I am trying to find the right part number for the Borla S for my car.

A couple of sites asked about ground effects with this purchase. Seems if you don't have ground effects it costs more.

Here is the write up from the Jeg's site:

Borla#157-11801

Chevrolet Rear-Section Exhaust System 2010-13 Camaro SS
"S-Type" Muffler
For Factory Ground Effects

Can someone tell me what this means? I know there are aftermarket ground effects that can be added to these cars. Not sure why it would make a difference in the muffler choice.

Thanks

The mufflers are the same, it's the tips that are different. The tips that come on it won't fit with the factory ground effects, so the model for cars with ground effects has no fancy tips, just basically a pipe that ends. That's why it costs more if you don't have ground effects, because you're paying for tips also.

With ground effects:

Without ground effects:

If you have ground effects, you could always get something like this:

the ground effects version will likely fit, but it just won't be as pretty.
