Murena, CONGRATS on the ride and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wive's, husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!

I was not far from Monaco this past summer but never had a chance to attend a Formula 1 Race there... only watched on TV as u did However i had the opportunity to drive on these streets in Monaco (low and legal speed of course) and trust me it must be a kick in the ass when the green lignts turn on during a formula race... imagine driving over the 150mph on streets !!! Just for the "anecdote" i had the opportunity to drive a Cam on the famous Indianapolis circuit... it was in the early 90's with a 80's model... maybe the place where i got the virus Regarding modeling : u dare the question so i owe u an answer : no Camly yours |

Awesome choice in cars! I spent many an enjoyable vacations in France (mainly Paris) during my 13 years living in Europe...you have a wonderful country and you made it even better by bringing in a Camaro!!!

Guess ... something like that : honestly it's not common to drive american muscle cars here in europe... even if the car is famous (movies such as Transformer...) any street you drive you keep earing "t'as vu la camaro ?" ("watch the Camaro")... Something also funny was during summer break, i thought spending time in an area where u cross more Ferrari, Lambo, and so on than any other car would be a cool place for driving a Camaro... no one would pay attention... BIG MISTAKE ! How is it in US ? same ? Camly yours |

Three years later, and you will read about it in this forum, we all still experience that Camaro attention from time to time. Do they have Wal-Mart's in France? (That's a little C5 inside joke). |

I'm assuming you know what Wal-Mart is.
There have been dozens, if not hundreds, of threads about people's parking experiences at Wal-Mart. Someone parked too close. Someone took up too many spaces. Someone parked in a threatening way. Someone left a dirty note on their Camaro. The fact that it always seems to be Wal-Mart is part of why it's insane. The fact that some people are so obsessed with parking is another. The end result being, when a thread is titled something like, "Can you believe this happened today", you can be fairly certain it involves parking at Wal-Mart. |

thanks SSBlack Re Wal Mart stores, there's none in France, but it sounds like they exported their parking lots overseas without the stores. It's such a big issue just to find a place where to park a camaro here . It just looks like everything is designed for a Smart or a Fiat 500 (small european cars i presume u know). Hopefully ppl are rather respectfull here, especially when a Cam is involved in parking. Camly yours |
