Slipping clutch at 2k miles

So I've searched this forum and can't seem to find the exact issue I'm having.
My 2015 SS seems to have a slippage issue. Everything seems to work as it should except for at high rpms.
For example: downshifting from just about any gear and stomping the pedal causes the rpms to climb with very little drivetrain results... until I get off the gas to allow it to play "catch up."
I've checked low rpms with high gears, pulling hills etc. and there's no slippage there.
This mostly occurs around the 4K rpm mark. It feels like the car has too much torque that the clutch can't handle. The weird thing is I don't get any burning clutch smell either. The engine and drivetrain are bone stock btw.

Any ideas? The car only as 2700 miles on it.

It's going back to the dealership at 8am. I'll post the results of their findings.

The dealership called and said they're replacing everything even down to the flywheel. The tech said it just looked wore.
Hell I've barley driven the car and maybe only hot rodded it twice. From reading this forum I may want to baby the new stock one until I can afford to drop a performance clutch in it anyhow.

Sounds good ! Let us know how it works after you have put about 100 easy miles on it. Hopefully you will get normal wear & performance out of the new one.

So far so good. I don't think it was ever right from the factory. Now the clutch has that nice stiff feel until halfway down then goes into a smooth throw out towards the bottom. It's never felt like that. Before it always felt spongy and weak without any balls to it!
