Ay6 issue with reverse
Hey guys, searched through the forums for bout 4 hours yesterday and couldn't really find any info about my issue. A couple of days ago I couldn't get into reverse, the shifter wouldn't even slide left to enter the gate for reverse so I took my palm and smacked the shifter and it finally went over, now the shifter will go over with zero resistance. Iv actually hit reverse a few time trying for first. I took the shifter apart because the centering spring popped off when I did that but I didn't see anything else in there other than to 2 spring. Iv had the car on a lift looking for a lockout solenoid for reverse but only seeing output speed sensor and what looks like a temp it level sensor (on the side of the casing at the bottom. Anyone have any ideas cause my only other idea and to pull the trans and tear it down and search
