LPW COVER (VENT ISSUE)
Has anyone installed the LPW cover and had oil come out of the vent at highway speeds???? Street driving seems to be fine. I put the stock cover back on and it doesn't do it anymore.

Yup, same issue. Got a PM from BlownRS/SS with the same issue as well. Been in contact with LPW and they are aware, we will see what becomes of it as far as what the problem is and a fix.

Hey thundercat, you should contact LPW by phone if you haven't already so they are aware of just how widespread this problem is. There seems to be more and more people coming forward with this issue on a daily basis.

Not sure if it will be a quick fix, there is quite a bit of difference in the vent location from the stock cover to the lpw cover, they may need a new casting. returning mine tired of changing fluid and swaping covers back and forth!!!!

Try extending the vent line above the top of the cover before tearing it all apart. Thats probably what their fix will end up being too.

The vent line already extends above the top of the cover by probably 6" or so. You can't go much higher without drilling a hole in your trunk. Maybe you could extend it up in the wheel well???

Well crap I didn't know that, was only going off their pic on the website. I was wanting to pick one up in two months when I do my first fluid change but I guess I'll wait and see how this shakes out.
