Interior Noise w/MRT Exhaust

I'm about ready to purchase the axle back MRT exhaust (not sure yet if I'm going with v1.0 or 2.0) but what I want to know is what's the interior noise level like with either one of these exhaust systems? I'm sure with v1.0 it's lounder from in the cabin then with version 2.0 but is it tolerable?

Noise is not an issue...but...drone is for many. It is a "tolerance level" thing. It doesn't bother some but to me it was too much. I took them off and replaced them. The fellow I sild them to loves them...so you can see...you really won't know until you try them.

ya ur gonna hear it no matter what, it dont bother me, with my setup it is really loud, but ya its tolerable, its not like u cant hear your passengers talk or anything

I Got the v2 just to be safe, from the video's i've watched it gives you the sound you want when you ask for it, is otherwise just a bit louder than stock..That seems to work best for me, i don't want to be loud 24/7, my tolerance is rather low after working 13hrs and having to drive an hour home :P

Just type Mrt v1 then Mrt v2 in youtube and do some comparisons and see what really suits your taste in what you want in an exhaust.

Im sure scrming's got some incab video's of the V2, not sure about V1

Take a listen to this clip that danrc28 put together when visiting me to her a MRT 2.0 system. He went from Toronto to Florida and back stopping along the way picking up sound bytes. The video starts off with outside rev's, then an on ramp full throttle run, then an acceleration run from inside while talking about drone. Tape finishes with me passing the camera on the highway doing 3rd gear runs.

If someone is in your area, I'd hear it in person. I wasn't crazy about it at first, no complaints now. Could be less drone inside though.

I have the V2 and I have a 2 hour drive from my home to my college which I make frequently and it doesn't bother me. But I wanted a louder exhaust so the drone is a by product, but it truly isn't bad. Plus you can always turn the radio up.

YES!!! I'm sold. That's just the video I needed to see/hear. The interior drone wasn't too bad and I could quickly get use to it. The car sounded INCREDIBLE passing . Thanks for the post.

Also is that just the exhaust or did you do other mods too? Headers maybe?

INJEN long tube cold air intake and the MRT 2.0 and that is it.

I revved the car in the garage when we put both cars in and my wife said louder, I did. She said isn't that loud ! Wonder what MRT2 would be like in place of the Magnaflows but leaving the rest in my sig?
