Who (does anyone) makes a very quiet exhaust?

Greetings! I've been reading the forums for about a year now, and finally decided to join.

At this point, I'm planning on ordering a 2011 1SS at some point next year. Still deciding on color though.

I really want to build a sleeper. I'd like to do S/C, stealth cam possibly, maybe heads, tune. But of course I would prefer that no one know what lies beneath. So my question is, does anyone make a high flowing, but very quiet exhaust? The ultimate goal would be to run those normally, but have electric cutouts for when you need to scare off some less than adequate competition.

I'm not sure I could even achieve quietness with S/C and headers. I read on another thread that the stock exhaust should flow pretty good, and may be as quiet as I can get. Thoughts? Any help would be appreciated.

You could probably get a dual mode setup like the corvette. I also love the street sleeper idea. I've been wanting to build one for years. I've wanted to do it with something you would NEVER expect though. Rear wheel drive Monte carlo anyone?

Stock mufflers are pretty high flowing, put some aftermarket headers on with cutouts right behind them, should be a little louder than stock from the headers, but not bad.

I figure stock will probably be as quiet as I can get. I just don't want to stifle the S/C. Flowmaster should build the "Sleeper" model. Straight through design with tons of packing around it to deaden the sound. I want like Honda quiet.

if anything, open up the stock muffs and pack in some fiberglass packing (must get heat/flame proof packing....NOT pink house insulation). It will absorb a lot more of the sound, without changing the resonance canceling characteristics too much. This i actually what i was thinking of doing, and having the NOWEEDS exhaust diverters for when i want some ricers ears to bleed

The insulation is a great idea. Will make my convertible even that much more of a sleeper. NoWeeds for sure for mild to wild.
