ZL1 differential swap - my 3.23 for your 3.73
EDIT: NO LONGER LOOKING. FOUND A TRADE. CLOSE THREAD.
So I've got a 3.23 ZL1 diff that I swapped into my SS. I now wish I would have gone with the 3.73. Thinking about changing out gears...but wanted to see if maybe someone was interested in just swapping their 3.73 for a 3.23. I know some higher powered ZL1 manual's have benefited at the strip by switching out to a 3.23. I'm located in the Minneapolis MN area. Last edited by cc-rider; 09-11-2017 at 10:08 PM. |

I really don't know as I bought it used and forgot what the guy said. But it is lower mileage unit. Works perfectly. Just want the 3.73 instead.

Here's a couple of pics of the diff right before it went in (Nov 2016). Put it in last year right before winter...got one ride in before the snow hit...parked it until I got it out this May. It has 500 miles on it since then.
