Mine still in service at dealership. 3 months sitting there with nothing done. Called every week for an update, said it was at the top shop in Charlotte. Called and told me it was done (12 weeks). Went to pick it up, nothing had been touched/replaced. Car was filthy. Thanks Randy Marion Chevrolet!

Pulled my vert out yesterday after being idle for a month. Could tell the battery had weakened. It was drawing 15.2 on a 10 minute shake down cruise. Put the CTEK (http://smartercharger.com) on it, it pulled full juice for over an hour meaning it was <75%. Left it overnight so now it is 100%. This is a must have tool in your garage.

Anyway, it will be 52 and sunny tomorrow so it is going to the dealer for its fourth and final Complete Care oil change (9300 miles). I'm tempted to put the top down.

The pictures are of it sitting on the showroom floor. I'm kicking myself for not taking a picture when I picked it up, but the dealership was 200 miles away, it was 8:30PM, with freezing temperature & Notre Dame had lost the game... I really needed a beer!

Thanks! I'm enjoying the extra horsepower, especially trying to get through this Florida tourist-season traffic

And yes, I'm DEFINITELY going to be doing a lot of detailing. For being new off the lot, this car is in bad shape. So much that if it wasn't such a rarity with the 20% discount, I would have bought one elsewhere, or at least demanded a deep discount. Aside from the dreaded "dealer-installed swirl package" throughout, there are a couple of scratches on the hood. One can be easily buffed out, but another looks like someone dropped a tool on it and it left an 1/8" gouge. It didn't break the paint, but it left an indentation in the paint. There are also a couple of deep scuffs on the door, circled in the pic:

Those look worse than they are because the light is hitting them. It's not even noticeable in the shade.

Again, I can buff those out, I just shouldn't have to. I could have the dealership do it, but I'd feel better doing it on my own. There are also some scratches on the window where it looks like they had something clipped onto it (probably a sign or banner advertising a sale). The scratches are too deep to repair so the dealership is going replace that window. It will be three weeks before they can do that. I don't mind the wait, but I want to get the windows tinted now, and there's no point in doing that if the window will be replaced soon.

You replaced the top? That's gotta be pricey (I'm guessing around $2k). That black on Red Rock does look nice though!
